Jennifer Baic
Her educational background includes attending the Law Clerk program at Seneca College in Ontario, as well as ongoing continuing legal education through organizations such as the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association as well as conflict management through the Stitt Feld Handy Group.
Jennifer started her career as a law clerk in personal injury in 2004, working for various personal injury law firms and becoming certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a paralegal in 2008, where she started practicing in the areas of accident benefits, WSIB and have appeared before numerous tribunals representing people injured by the negligence of others. She has also taught the Paralegal program in Ontario, helping new paralegals obtain their certification as well as tutoring for the LSO.
She has also worked in the financial sector helping accident victims and their representatives obtain funding for their legal cases, following her return to personal injury with NOVA. In 2010, she received the Outstanding Law Clerk award from the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
Jennifer grew up in rural Southern Ontario and continues to live in a small town there. Her family immigrated to Canada from Croatia in the 1970s, and has strong roots to her European culture. She is also an Equestrian Canada Competition Coach, and spends most of her spare time training, coaching and developing her own and others horses.
Jennifer is a proud mom to a teenage daughter, and her favourite hobby is cooking (not baking!).
