Kara started at NOVA Injury Law in July 2023, and is the executive assistant to Taylor Jacobs where she works tirelessly to ensure that everything is organized and running smoothly. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail contribute to the team’s success.
Kara grew up in a small farming community in Northern New Brunswick. She moved to Nova Scotia for school, where she found love, tying the knot and making Nova Scotia her permanent home.
Kara’s original goal was to be a paramedic, going to school for Paramedicine and Child and Youth Care with Addiction Services, where she earned her Medical First Responder certificate. Kara worked at CIBC throughout school before transitioning into the healthcare sector. After working for two years in the paramedicine field, Kara decided to change her career path entirely to be closer to her loved ones.
Kara’s position as the Executive Assistant at NOVA Injury Law allows her freedom to spend more time with her husband and two stepchildren. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and taxidermy.
