Nick Bartolacci
About Nick
Nick joined NOVA Injury Law in January of 2025 after practicing as an insurance defense and civil litigator at a large firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout that time, Nick represented a number of large insurance companies on a range of claims based on alleged personal injury, professional negligence, and property damage. Nick now uses the skills and experience earned throughout his time as defence counsel to ensure his clients receive fair treatment from insurance companies and their lawyers.
Nick obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s University where he captained the Varsity football team and won the School’s President’s Award for excellence in Academics, Athletics and Community Service. Nick was a multiple time Academic All-Canadian and Dean’s List recipient, was named as a member of 2010’s All-Decade team, and earned an invite to participate in the 2018 CFL Regional Combine. He continues to pursue his love of football through coaching with both Saint Mary’s University and the provincial football program.
Nick attended law school at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. During law school, Nick continued his commitment to community service by volunteering with the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Society, Football Nova Scotia and the NSSAF. Prior to his legal career, Nick worked in Nova Scotia’s commercial fishing, construction, fitness, and hospitality industries.
Outside the office, you can find Nick playing or watching sports, exercising, travelling, and volunteering within his community.
