Our Community
At NOVA Injury Law, we take pride in supporting the fabric of our local communities through the work that we do- and not just the legal work.
Because at NOVA, deep investment in our communities is just who we are.
At Our Community, we take the opportunity to share what our team has been up to as we support local charities and communal initiatives across Nova Scotia and all Atlantic Canada.
Halifax Pride Parade (July 2025)
On July 22nd, NOVA Injury Law proudly marched in the Halifax Pride Parade to celebrate and stand with the LGBTQIA+ community 🏳️🌈.
At NOVA, we’re committed to fighting for justice and equality for everyone—no matter their identity, background, or orientation.
Check out our highlight video—we had an incredible time celebrating with everyone! ✨🌈
Swara Live (July 2025)
On July 14, one of NOVA’s valued paralegals, Nayomi, represented the firm at Swara Live — a vibrant Sri Lankan concert hosted at DeWolf Park in Bedford. NOVA Injury Law is proud to sponsor and participate in meaningful community events across all the areas we serve.

Shippagan Triathlon (July 2025)
On July 7th, our principal lawyer, Jeff Mitchell, had the full NOVA team cheering him on at the Shippagan Triathlon in New Brunswick. From the courtroom to the finish line, Jeff shows the same unwavering dedication he brings to every client.

Bluenose Marathon (May 2025)
This May, Team NOVA took on the Bluenose Marathon, and we had so much fun! The weather may not have been on our side, but that didn’t stop us from sticking it out and pushing through – just like we do for our clients every day. Check out our journey and some behind the scenes footage of this iconic local run.
Fish Hatchery Park (April 2025)
For Earth Dat, members of the NOVA Bedford team took to Fish Hatchery Park to clean up the area and pick up what doesn’t belong. Thank you to Kyla, Jordan, Nayomi, and Kallen for taking time out of your day to give back to the planet!

Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Forum (April 2025)
This past weekend, we were at the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Forum (p)linking up with physiotherapists who see injured people every day. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat with us on how we can better service our clients!
