About Emma

Emma was born and raised on Cape Breton Island. She graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts, where she majored in Criminology and minored in Sociology. After graduating from SMU in 2020, Emma returned to Cape Breton Island to attend Island Career Academy and get her diploma in the Paralegal/Legal Assistant course.

Following graduation, she started her career working in property, will, and estates law for a number of years before joining the NOVA Injury Law team. Emma is a valued member of the team, where her dedication and kindness shine through every day.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending all her time with her daughter, and their dog, Marlei. She also enjoys visiting all the beautiful sites Cape Breton has to offer, and taking part in her newest hobby, running.
